Teal & Orange

This Orange and Teal free lightroom preset does a great job at bringing out the orange and teal colors in photos. It increases contrast, decreases highlights and adds shadows and whites. Increasing clarity it mixes colors in a unique way to create a powerful take on the popular orange and teal motif.

You can see that this preset creates a striking look by boosting the orange and teal tones in this skyscraper photo. It creates a sort of surreal yet retro feeling to the landscape turning the concrete of the streets to a nice blue and the tops of the building to a retro orange.

This preset is always very useful for beach scenes especially when there is tropical blue water. This really helps highlight the unique tones within a photo like the one above. You can see in the after photo that the sand looks retro and punchy with the orange hue while the blue water is just stunning. It looks like a tropical paradise.

Cold Snap

This preset does a great job at adding a cold and cinematic quality to your photos. It increases contrast while decreasing highlights, shadows, whites and blacks. Raising the black point while muting highlights allowes Cold Snap to create beautiful muted tones and subtle color throughout the entire photo.

You can see that this preset creates a cinematic look by darkening the blues and muting the warmer colors while adding contrast to the shadows. The end result is a scene with similar colors, but a much more dramatic and filmic feel.

This preset is very versatile, from epic mountain scenics to tropical beaches and everything in between. This really helps highlight the unique tones within colorful photo. You can see in the after photo that the green trees look washed out while the water is punchy and crystal.

City and urban photos also benefit from Cold Snap’s muted colors and cold blue and orange tones. Spring Fever

Spring Fever is a wonderful preset that adds contract, pop and clarity to your photos. It increases shadows while decreasing highlights and the white point to really allow the full color and range of your photos to shine.

While the other two presets adjust colors to create a desired look, spring fever focuses more on keeping the colors natural and true to how they originally looked, but thought the addition of clarity and highlight/shadow adjustments, you are able to pull more dynamic range from the photos.

This preset is very versatile, from product photography to wildlife and landscapes, this preset was designed to work with almost everything.

As you can see scrolling through a couple example photos, the effect is subtle, yet really creates drama and helps add extra punch without being over processed.

As with the other two, you can absolutely use the Spring Fever preset as is, right out of the box. With any preset you might need to make adjustments to accommodate your specific camera, settings, lighting and subject matter.
